Oktoblerfest drawing a crowd and good reviews
The first annual Oktoblerfest in Vernon will certainly not be the last one.
The first time event is proving to be a hit, as well as a tribute to Okanagan Spring Brewery which got its start in Vernon in 1985. The co-founding Tobler family forms the unique part of the event’s name, with members of the family on hand for the four day celebration.
Friday had a capacity crowd at Wings Vernon, the venue for Oktoblerfest 2021. In attendance was some of the top brass from Sleeman Breweries, the Canadian parent of Okanagan Spring Brewery.
Todd Robinson, Director of Sales for B.C. for Sleeman Brewery, was impressed with the event. He attended the opening on Thursday.
