Salmon Arm resident to use lotto winnings on a new set of wheels

Serena Bosley of Salmon Arm has won $500,000 in a Lotto 6/49 draw and plans to use the funds to purchase a new truck and some real estate.

Bosley told B.C. Lottery Corporation she checked her ticket from the Sept.1 Lotto 6/49 draw, and after seeing all the zeros was advised by her friend to go to the till.

Bosley had purchased the ticket from the Pharmasave on Hudson Ave., and brought it back to the location to be scanned.

Bosley’s ticket matched all four numbers from the draw, securing her a $500,00 payday.
