Off to the races? Seven vehicles impounded for speeding
Tow truck drivers were kept busy by speeding drivers over the Labour Day long weekend.
Between Friday, Sept. 3, and Sunday, Sept. 6, RCMP in the North Okanagan impounded seven vehicles for excessive speeding. The vehicles were towed from the scenes and locked-up for seven days.
“Despite ongoing and repeated warnings about the risks and consequences of aggressive driving, police continue to see vehicles travelling at dangerous speeds,” said Const Chris Terleski, media relations officer.
