Drop-in vaccine clinics in Vernon & Salmon Arm

People looking to get a first dose of a COVID vaccine can attend a drop-in vaccination clinic in Vernon June 25-27.

It will be held at the Vernon Community Arts Centre on Highway 6.

“No advance appointments are necessary for this clinic. People who live or work in the area will be able to walk-up, register and receive a COVID-19 vaccine,” a news release from Interior Health said.

Drop-in vaccinations

Location: Vernon Community Arts Centre, 2704A Hwy 6

Time: Friday, June 25 to Sunday, June 27 from 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Who: People aged 12+ (born in 2009 or earlier) who have not yet received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Drop-in vaccinations will also be available in Salmon Arm.

Location: Salmon Arm Secondary – Jackson Campus, 551 14 Street NE

Time: Monday, June 28 to Wednesday, June 30 from 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Who: People aged 12+ (born in 2009 or earlier) who have not yet received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Ongoing appointment based clinics

People can also get their first dose by visiting a clinic during drop-in hours or by appointment. To get a second dose, people need to book an appointment. Invitations to book an appointment are being sent eight weeks after receiving the first dose.

Register online by visiting the provincial website at www.getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca/, call 1‑833‑838‑2323, or visit a Service BC office listed here, and then book an appointment.
