Wildfire held at 100 hectares

A wildfire that had been burning on the north end of Okanagan Lake since Thursday afternoon is now considered held, by the B.C. Wildfire Service.

While the fire is on the Okanagan Indian Band (OKIB), the wildfire service offered assistance with rap attack crews.

Windy conditions and dry conditions for the past month saw the fire grow quickly from 10 hectares, to its current 100 ha size.
