Additional COVID-19 cases at VJH and KGH

Interior Health is reporting two more COVID-19 case at Vernon Jubilee hospital in connection with an outbreak on the Level three surgical unit. Anyone that was on the unit or otherwise had contact from March 15 to 29 is advised to self-isolate.
The outbreak at Kelowna General Hospital, also continues with with 10 cases: five patients and five staff, with two deaths connected to the outbreak on Unit 5B. On unit 4E there are two cases: one patient and one staff.
Cottonwoods Care Centre long-term care in Kelowna has 27 cases: 24 residents and three staff.
