Vernon real estate team finishes tops in province

2020 was a busy — and memorable year — for a Vernon real estate team.

The Salt Fowler group with RE/MAX Vernon Salt Fowler ranked number one overall in the British Columbia region for total transaction sides in 2020.

This is the first year that Salt Fowler has been recognized for their record high number of annual transactions.

“In addition, the group ranked as #4 in all of Western Canada for sales volume and also qualified for the prestigious RE/MAX Pinnacle Club Award, which honors high-achieving real estate professionals for their service to buyers and/or sellers during the past year,” a news release from RE/MAX Vernon Salt Fowler stated.

This is the first year this award has been offered by RE/MAX International.

Vernon Salt Fowler has sold in the Greater Vernon marketplace for over 28 years and is composed of 10 members.

“Each member of RE/MAX Vernon Salt Fowler worked themselves ragged to achieve this high honour in our market. Everything had pretty much shut down for six weeks due to Covid, and then all of a sudden it broke loose and the market has not stopped since, so neither have we” Gord Fowler, co-owner of the Salt Fowler group with Lisa Salt, said.

Brad Marsh, broker/owner of the RE/MAX Vernon and RE/MAX Vernon Salt Fowler said ranking #1 in all of British Columbia for total transaction sides is a tremendous accomplishment, and the first time anyone in a smaller center such as Vernon has been able to accomplish such a feat.

“Ranking #4 for all of Western Canada is also amazing. We’re extremely proud of this hard working group of Realtors and look forward to additional growth in 2021,” Marsh said.

Among Salt Fowler’s list of achievements, they have earned RE/MAX Circle of Legends (2020, 2019), RE/MAX Western Canada Volume Award (#3, 2018), RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement and RE/MAX Hall of Fame.
