BX Swan Lake fire crews respond to second fire

BX-Swan Lake fire crews have a grass fire extinguished at 5482 Silver Star Road, near the intersection of L&A Road.

Initial reports indicate a burn pile got out of control.

Two residents have been transported to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.

The fire was reported around 2:25 p.m. Tuesday, just as crews were departing an earlier grass and shed fire in the 1000-block of 25th Avenue just outside the Vernon boundary in East Hill.
