The NDP has nominated a candidate for the Vernon Monashee riding in next month’s provincial election.

Harwinder Sandhu will be up against three-term Liberal incumbent Eric Foster with the Green Party yet to name a candidate.

Sandhu also ran for the party in last year’s federal election, placing third behind the Conservative and Liberal candidates.

Sylvia Lindgren will run for the NDP in the Shuswap riding against two-term Liberal Greg Kyllo, who both ran as well in 2017.

Elsewhere in the Okanagan, Spring Hawes has been nominated by the NDP in Kelowna West, up against Liberal incumbent Ben Stewart.

No word yet on the NDP candidates in the other two Kelowna ridings.

Sadie Hunter of the NDP will seek the seat in Kamloops-North Thompson against Liberal incumbent Peter Milobar, with no candidate as yet in Kamloops South Thompson to take on Liberal Todd Stone.
