Aug 24, 2020 | 5:50 AM

There will soon be a new person in charge of development services at the District of Coldstream.

After a planning career that has spanned over 35 years, including the last eight with the district, Mike Reiley will be retiring at the end of September 2020.

Reiley has served as the director of development services since September 2012.

“I would like to thank Mike for his contributions to our community during his time with us. We wish him all the best in his retirement” said chief administrative officer Trevor Seibel.

Effective September 21, Ryan Roycroft will take over Reiley’s position.

“With over 10 years of planning experience, Mr. Roycroft brings a variety of planning and management experience to his new role with Coldstream. Council and staff look forward to Mr. Roycroft joining the District’s senior management team,” Seibel added.

Roycroft is currently director of infrastructure, operations and development at Town of Strathmore, Alberta.
