Members of the BC Conservation Officers Service charged a boat operator with driving without due care and attention on Wood Lake this past weekend.
According to a Facebook post, officers believed the vessel operator was impaired by alcohol.
“After further investigation, the individual was arrested and charged for operating a vessel in a careless manner without due care and attention,” the post said. “Like a motor vehicle, it is an offence to operate a vessel while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.”
The post showed photos of a vodka bottle and a small watercraft being towed back to shore.
