Construction and design company earns national awards
A B.C.-based construction company is standing tall after receiving several national and regional awards for design and building excellence.
Announced June 12, the Canadian Home Builders Association’s (CHBA) National Awards for Housing Excellence awarded Kelowna’s Ian Paine Construction (IPC) and Design with Gold for renovation $1M-plus, Gold for renovation between $150k-$300k, and runner up for kitchen renovation under $70k.
Owned by Krista Paine, IPC and Design was also named Canadian Renovator of the Year. This is the first time an award has been presented for best overall performance in the home renovation categories at the CHBA national awards.
“It’s an incredible compliment to our company. To have the best in Canada shows we have the top team of designers, builders, and renovators,” Paine said, adding the award for renovation between $150k-$300k, as well as the runner up for kitchen renovation under $70k went to the McKinley Beach residence that Paine calls home.
