Henry also issued an assurance that the province’s food supply remains safe, even if the product comes from a facility where there are outbreaks.

“Just to be clear, there have not been any reported cases of food or food packaging associated with the transmission of COVID-19,” Henry said. “I have been receiving some questions about whether it’s safe to eat the products of some of the facilities where we have had outbreaks and the answer is ‘yes the food supply is safe and continues to be safe.'”

Henry said there is one week left for people to take part in a province-wide survey called ‘Your Story, Our Future’ on the COVID-19 response.

So far, more than 313,000 people have responded.
