Several billion dollars more in new program spending announced by Trudeau

A flurry of funding announcements from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Friday aimed at helping more workers, businesses, arts groups and athletes affected by COVID-19.
1.7 billion-dollars will be used to clean-up abandoned oil wells in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan, allowing farmers to use more land and create jobs.
$750 million will be invested into an emission reduction fund focusing on methane to create jobs through pollution-reduction.
$962 million was announced for regional development agencies and Community Futures networks to provide support small businesses that weren’t covered by earlier programs.
