New Vernon sign has simple but important message

A new sign that has gone up along the highway at Vernon’s southern entrance, is generating attention, which is a good thing.

The Funtastic Society has partnered with two local businesses on the sign that thanks frontline and health care heroes in the North Okanagan.

Funtastic general manager Akbal Mund told Vernon Matters it’s a way to be positive and show support to the community during a difficult time.

“There are so many people still working to provide services to benefit others,” Mund said.
