Hot streak has Viper in running for POM award

Vernon Vipers defenceman Landon Fuller has received honourable mention for BC Hockey League Player of the Month for January.

The six-foot-five inch, 225 pound blueliner from Williams Lake B.C. had six goals and six assists in 12 games last month.

Surrey Eagles forward Cristophe Tellier won the award, sponsored by FortisBC.

“The 2000-born native of Sherbrooke, Que. tied for the league lead in points in January with 20 in 12 games. Tellier had at least a point in 10 of his 12 games in the month, including seven multi-point efforts. He finished off January on a seven-game point streak,” said a posting on the BCHL website.
