Late goal lifts Eagles over Vipers

Matt Kowalski scored a pair of goals, but it wasn’t enough as the Vernon Vipers fell 4-3 to the Surrey Eagles before a crowd of 1,778 at Kal Tire Place Friday night.
Chistophe Tellier, a native of Sherbrooke Quebec, scored twice for the Eagles including the game winner at 16:22 of the third period.
Dawson Holt scored Vernon’s other goal as the Vipers fell to 14-12-1-1, fifth in the Interior Division.
James Porter took the loss in the Vipers net, making 19 saves.
