Annual creek clean-up

Volunteers are welcome to help clean-up a Vernon creek.

Tourism Vernon will be removing unwanted debris on a portion of BX Creek this Sunday (Sept. 22), the tenth year for the event.

The start point is between Red Top Shoes and Kal Tire Place, down the back alley.

“It is a 1 p.m. start and we really appreciate help. It’s amazing to have extra hands as the creek is normally a terrible mess after the spring flood and summer homeless activities,” Teresa Durning Harker, Manager Vernon Visitor Services & Vernon Visitor Centre, told Vernon Matters.
