The Vernon Vipers have added a veteran Western Hockey League defenceman to their roster.
Twenty-year-old Jackson Caller of Kamloops spent last year partly with his home town Blazers and with the Saskatoon Blades, where he spent the two seasons prior.
In 65 games, the 6-2, 189 pound blueliner had three goals and three assists.
“He’s a veteran player who really looks after his own zone. He skates well for a player of his size and can add a physical element to his game,” said Jason McKee, Head Coach and GM of the Vipers.
