SilverStar and Apex announce new pass holder program

Sep 4, 2019 | 11:07 AM

SilverStar Mountain Resort, along with Apex Mountain Resort have announced a new season pass holder reciprocal program that provides enhanced access to winter product lines at the two ski resorts.

The upgraded program will see all winter alpine season pass holders from each destination receive two free days skiing or snowboarding at the affiliated resort.

Once these free days have been utilized, all pass holders will then continue receiving 25 per cent off lift tickets for the remainder of each season. Limited blackout dates will apply.

“We are so excited to be working with Apex to provide all of our season pass holders the best value out of their pass,” Ian Jenkins, SiverStar’s sales and marketing director said. “We love showcasing the amazing ski resorts the Okanagan has to offer, and we are excited to be working with Apex to provide pass holders with the ultimate value out of their season pass.”

“It makes sense for the resorts in the Okanagan valley to work together and we are looking forward to a reciprocal partnership with SilverStar,” commented James Shalman, the general manager at Apex Mountain Resort. “Apex currently has reciprocal deals allowing our season pass holders to receive two free lift tickets with Mt. Baldy, Manning Park, Seymour and Mt Washington. By adding Silver Star to this reciprocal deal it will allow pass holders to experience more of the fantastic riding we have in the Okanagan, not only giving pass holder’s greater value but a more diversified winter skiing experience.”

The new program will apply to the winter 2019/20 season. Winter early-bird passes are currently available for Apex and SilverStar.

SilverStar Mountain Resort recently launched a similar program with Mt. Seymour Ski Resort near North Vancouver and Sun Peaks Resort, near Kamloops.

SilverStar also has reciprocal offers, where pass holders get 25 per cent off at more than 25 other resorts across Canada and the USA.
