The RCMP Traffic Service is seeking witnesses to a fatal motorcycle collision that occurred near Kamloops.

“On August 8, at 9:45 pm, the Kamloops RCMP responded to a report of the incident which occurred on Highway 1, near the Lafarge Exit. A westbound motorcycle was travelling along the highway when it hit a deer causing the lone rider to fall off. The rider was then struck by one or more vehicles,” said a news release from B.C. RCMP Communications.

It is believed that the drivers of vehicles that struck the rider may not have realized that they had done so.
