Two vehicles were involved in a crash north of Vernon this morning.

It was on the Highway 97 overpass around 11 am.

“It appeared to be a simple two vehicle collision/rear-ender. Not much more to report. No injuries, just a traffic snarl up,” says Cst. Kelly Brett in an email to Beach Radio News.

Emergency vehicles are on the scene of a crash north of Vernon.

It’s on Highway 97 on the overpass, and is causing traffic backups.

Police, ambulance and Fire-Rescue are on the scene.

There are no other details at this point.
