Shooting Suspect Pleads Guilty
A Vernon attempted murder suspect has pled guilty to lesser charges.
The B.C. Prosecution Service says 32 year old Tyson Darryl Cole has entered guilty pleas to five weapons charges in provincial court, and will return to court November 6 for sentencing.
“On May 6, 2019, Mr. Cole entered guilty pleas to the following Criminal Code offences: s.244.2(1)(b) – reckless discharge of a firearm; s.92(1) – possession of a firearm without a license or registration; s.88(1) – possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose; s.90(1) possession of a concealed weapon; and s.117.01(1) possession of a firearm while prohibited,” says Alisia Adams from the Service.
Cole had been facing 11 charges in all including attempted murder and aggravated assault connected to a shooting incident in May 2018.
