Sani-Dump On The Move

Vernon’s sani-dump site will be moving — but only by a few hundred feet.

The City says work has start to temporarily relocate the facility from east of the Visitor Centre on 39th Avenue, to a site west of the Centre by the May long weekend.

The new site will be accessed off 31st Street in the 3700 block, by the former Civic Arena site.

“The relocation of the RV sani-dump station is necessary to accommodate the future construction of the 30 Street Road Improvement and Utility Construction project scheduled for later this year,” says a City news release.
