Suspicious Motorist Leads To Warning

RCMP in Lake Country are advising the public to be vigilant after two reports of a suspicious man offering rides to young women.
The incidents occurred between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. this week in the Bond Road and Ponderosa Drive neighbourhoods.
“In both cases, the unknown male motorist drove away, after the teens did the right thing and blatantly turned down the man’s offer, and then reported the encounter to the RCMP,” says Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey.
The man was believed to be in his late 40’s, with greying blonde hair, and seen driving an older model blue four door sedan.
