Lock up Your Valuables

This is the time of year when residential break and enters, theft from vehicles, theft of bikes, and property crimes in general, tend to increase.

Police say that’s due mostly to an increase in crimes of opportunity as a result of property not being properly secured or concealed.

RCMP is reminding residents to secure their homes, vehicles and valuables, and have issued some safety tips to help out with that.
