North Okanagan Men Arrested After Crash
Two men from Enderby and Falkland were taken into custody after a vehicle that police tried to pull over, crashed in Kamloops.
“Early this morning, April 25th, at 4:40 am, a Kamloops RCMP officer saw a vehicle driving erratically and speeding in the area of Highland Drive,” says RCMP Cpl. Jodi Shelkie. “The officer activated his emergency lights in an attempt to pull the vehicle over, but instead, the vehicle sped away. The officer immediately pulled over to the side of the road and stopped. The suspect vehicle continued speeding on the frontage road near Oriole Drive when it hit a cement barrier.”
One man was found in the vehicle and another was located nearby after running away.
“Although neither had visible injuries, both were transported to a local medical facility for assessment,” says Shelkie.
