Power Outage

Update: Power Outage for Over 2,000

UPDATE

BC Hydro says on its website the outage has ended and power has been restored.

A reason for the outage is not provided.

11:35 am

Power is out for a few thousand customers in Vernon’s downtown area.

BC Hydro says the outage started at 11:30 and impacts about 2,315 homes and businesses.

The cause is under investigation with no time as yet to restore service.

The area impacted is described as: North of HWY 6 , East of 27TH AVE, West of BODWELL RD, South of 37TH AVE.
