Stubborn Fire Destroys Peachland Home
Firefighters had their hands full in Peachland with a stubborn” house fire that roared to life on Saturday afternoon.
The report from Global News says the the blaze along Somerset Avenue, belched out black smoke and was alarming in its ferocity.
According to the Peachland Fire Department the home, built alongside a hill, appears to be a likely write-off.
James Springer of the Peachland Fire Department said they were called to the fire at approximately 1:10 p.m and “It was fully involved when we got here, so lots of fire”.
