Bus Flips on Big White Rd; Six Taken to Hospital

Big White Road is now open to all traffic in both directions.

Big White Rd, east of Kelowna, is closed at approximately the 4km mark.

A bus has flipped on its side and is blocking the road. No significant injuries reported. BC Ambulance, RCMP, and Big White Fire Department are on scene.

There were 22 passengers in addition to the driver, on the bus. Six individuals have been taken to hospital via ambulance with minor injuries. Road is expected to re-open within the hour.
