Sudden Departure Of City Spokesperson

The spokesperson for the City of Vernon  is no longer on the job.

Nick Nilsen had been the City Communications and Grants Manager since last year.

Deputy Chief Administrative Officer Patti Bridal says in a statement Nilsen is no longer employed by the City.

“The City wishes to advise that Mr. Nilsen is no longer with the City of Vernon and that we wish him the best in his future endeavours,” says Bridal.

No details of his departure have been provided.
