Lake Country Conservatives Elect Candidate Today

Today Kelowna-Lake Country Conservatives will pick their candidate for the upcoming federal election.

Tracy Gray (left) is a former Kelowna city councillor and Troika Development’s CEO Renee Wasylyk are both vying for the nomination.

Ernie Webber, the party’s electoral district association president said at today’s nomination vote, his riding association has the largest number of members it has had “in several elections.”

The last contested nomination was in 2005 when Ron Cannan won the nomination. Webber says It will simply be a day of voting unlike the traditional convention-style gathering. .
