International students bring big bucks to school district

International students are providing big bucks to the school district.
The board revealed that they profited $500,000 from international students this past year and they are projecting similar numbers for next school year
“The students pay up front a lot of the time so we are seeing pre-payments,” said Assistant Secretary Treasurer Adrain Johnson.
Superintendent Joe Rogers says students from all over the world are coming to study at district schools.
He says that they are only expecting about 40 from China next year and the rest are expected to come from throughout Europe, Brazil and Korea.
The board hopes to use the extra money to pay for their new school board office, which is expected to be completed sometime next December.
