Documentary Sparks Debate on Anxiety
It’s being called a must see documentary.
IndieFlix Foundation has ignited a global conversation about anxiety through screenings of its film “Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety.”
A special free screening of the 56 minute production will be held at 7 pm April 10th at Kal Secondary, put on by the school’s Parent Advisory Council, followed by a dialogue between local families, community leaders and experts.
“Stigma prevents 40% of people with anxiety or depression from seeking medical help. Our hope is that by showing this film, and the bravery of the people featured in it, others in our community will be inspired to speak up,” says Kal PAC President Kelli Sullivan.
