Vernon Vipers win the series!

It’s on to the next round of the BC Hockey League playoffs for the Vernon Vipers.

The team played to a sold-out Kal Tire Place Monday night with a 5-2 win over the Trail Smoke Eaters. Over 3200 fans were in attendance.

Josh Latta scored the first goal. Nick Cherkowski scored the second followed by Jagger Williamson all within the first period.

Carver Watson scored the fourth goal and Josh Latta wrapped it up with the final goal.

The Vipers will be begin the next best-of-seven on the road in Wenatchee.
