Pallet Fires Sparking Concern

Pallet fires have become a growing concern for Vernon’s business community.

The Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce has informed members about a series of wood pallet fires around the community the last few weeks.

Rachael Zubick, coordinator for Vernon Community Safety, says there is action merchants can take.

“To prevent the possibility of suffering damage or a complete building loss, please take the time to remove or secure pallets from around your premises,” says Zubick.
