Gala Enters New Era

Organizers of the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation’s 23rd annual Hospital Gala say it will be an event like Vernon has never seen before.

The fundraiser at the Vernon Lodge May 11th will feature a gourmet dinner, live and silent auctions, and entertainment.

“Smooth Operations 2019 Hospital Gala, presented by Subway Vernon, is the first of a new era in the VJH Foundation gala history,” says a foundation news release. “This stunning and elegant black-tie event will transform the Vernon Lodge and Conference Centre like Vernon has never seen before.”

The event will raise funds to support the campaign to increase the number of surgeries at VJH.

“For the first time at an event in Vernon, there will be a VIP room offering an exclusive experience for VIP ticket holders,” says the release. “The VIP room is presented by Bannister GM. Very limited VIP tables available.”

Organizers say the event is already 20% sold out.
