104 Year Old Record Broken

Wednesday was the warmest March 20th in Vernon in 104 years.

Environment Canada says the temperature peaked at 15.8 degrees Celsius, breaking the old record of 15.6 set in 1915.

Kelowna also set a new record, reaching 16.3 degrees, ahead of the old mark of 16.2 set in 1988.

In all, about 40 BC communities set new temperature records on Wednesday.
