NORD Urges Residents to Keep Recycling

Don’t forget to recycle, urge staff at the North Okanagan Regional District.

The reminder comes just ahead of Global Recycling Day on March 18 – a day to rethink what we throw away and what we recycle.

“With recent recycling changes at RDNO Diversion and Disposal Facilities, it is important to emphasize that, although we are unable to provide a full range of recycling services at our facilities specifically, we are still in support of all forms of recycling throughout the region,” says Darren Murray, the regional district’s environmental coordinator.

The RDNO points out that British Columbia has an extensive range of recycling programs that are offered at designated sites throughout the region.
