Vipers Even Up Series With Big OT Win
In BCHL first round playoffs, the Vipers came up with a much needed 2-1 overtime win over Salmon Arm. Josh Latta would send the Viper fans home happy and relieved after about 8 minutes of OT for the win. The series now shifts to Salmon Arm tomorrow and Wednesday with the teams sitting at 1 win each. We will have all the Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Causal Vipers play by play action with Graham Turnbull on Beach Radio.
In the other Interior Division playoffs, two visiting teams also stole a win. Penticton and Cowichan Valley are tied at 1…as well Merritt and Trail are knotted up at 1 win each. In the West Kelowna Wenatchee series the Wild won the first at home with the second going this afternoon.
In WHL action last night the Kelowna Rockets fell to the Portland Winterhawks 2-1 in overtime at Prospera Place. The Rockets and Winterhawks wrap up their season series at Prospera this afternoon at 5.
