Watch : Special Olympics B.C makes exciting announcement

With the Opening Ceremonies of the Special Olympics B.C Winter Games taking place tomorrow, it’s all hands on deck. Glenn Benischek, Games Chairperson, of the Special Olympics B.C Winter Games, reveals what people can expect during the opening ceremonies and makes a very special announcement.

Six hundred athletes and over two hundred coaches are expected to pack Kal Tire Place on Thursday.

“All the athletes are going to be marched in, we have athletes from the Yukon all the regions of British Columbia, We have cross country ski athletes from Alberta, that have joined us because their games actually lacked some snow for some of their events, ” said Benischek.
