Affordable housing project breaks ground in Vernon
The federal government announced Thursday that it will be shelling out $2.27 million dollars to help build an affordable rental complex in Vernon.
The 38 unit building, called Thunderbird Manor will be located on 5545 27th Avenue.
The four-story building is built in partnership with the Vernon Native Housing Society and B.C Housing.
The complex will help house seniors, individuals with accessibility issues, and aboriginal families.
