Snow Helps Mounties Get Their Man

Mounties in Salmon Arm got their man today, with some help from the snowy conditions.

Officers tried twice to pull over a vehicle which fled but was then located in the Notch Hill area where it had slid into a ditch and the occupants had fled.

Police called in a dog unit which tracked quite a distance before a male suspect was located attempting to hide.

Police say the man has warrants for his arrest from Kamloops, Merritt, and Vancouver for possession of stolen property, obstructing a police officer, assault of a police officer and other charges.
