TSB Won’t Investigate Balloon Crash
The Transportation Safety Board won’t be producing a report on an accident where a hot air balloon collided with power lines south of Armstrong last week.
The Board’s Regional Manager For Aviation Pacific Region, Yanick Sarazin, says they have compiled details of the incident, but won’t be conducting a formal investigation.
“We’re going to do a data gathering exercise to learn a little more about, but as far as safety deficiencies or writing a report, we won’t be investigating this class five occurrence,” Sarazin tells Beach Radio News.
Sarazin says they will not report on what caused it.
