District of Lake Country Election Results

James Baker has won a fifth term as Lake Country Mayor.

He defeated Barry Rhodes 1479 votes to 1266.

Penny Gambell (2001 votes) and Bill Scarrow (1456) were elected councillors at large.

Cara Reed was elected Carr’s Landing councillor with 183 votes and Todd McKenzie won for Oyama with 239 votes.

The firehall referendum to borrow 6.6 million dollars was passed by a margin of 1724 to 1026.
