IPE Opening Day Update

The opening day of the Interior Provincial Exhibition had some wet weather, but that didn’t stop thousands of people coming through the gates.

The 119th Armstrong Fair had day one attendance of 13,194 Wednesday.

General manager Yvonne Paulson says that’s about 4-thousand lower than opening day last year (17,051).

“We aren’t concerned about the difference at this point as rain always affects the attendance a bit for sure,” Paulson tells Beach Radio News.
“We are looking forward to an awesome day today.”
