Police Issue Update On Woman’s Death

RCMP no longer believe foul play was a factor in the sudden death of a  Vernon woman.

The body of 29 year old Jordyn Kitchener was found in a home on Ponderosa Road in West Kelowna June 29, 2018.

At that time, the death was considered suspicious.

“Police no longer suspect criminality was involved in the death of Ms. Jordyn Kitchener,” states RCMP Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey of the Kelowna Regional Detachment. “GIS investigators of the West Kelowna RCMP Detachment will continue to support the BC Coroners Service who have now taken lead on the investigation into her sudden death.”
