Renee Wasylyk will seek the Conservative Party nomination in the federal riding of Kelowna Lake Country.

Wasylyk has built the Kelowna-based land and real estate development company called The Troika Group, and also sits on several community boards.

“I am an empowering leader, a visionary community believer, with a broad base of experience, and a heart for our community and our future.” says Wasylyk. “It’s time for Kelowna-Lake Country to have a voice in Ottawa, and bring our best ideas forward.”

Wasylyk is being endorsed by Central Okanagan Similkameen Nicola Member of Parliament Dan Albas.

“I will be candid. It is a great honour to endorse a candidate who is such a dynamic and accomplished community leader.” says Albas. “In every endeavour Renee has emerged as a true champion. Someone who is visionary, who is talented, who is hard working but yet is also compassionate and kind.

Ron Cannan of the Conservatives was the MP for the riding from 2006 to 2015.

Liberal Stephen Fuhr won the seat in 2015.
