Twenty- four wildfire personnel are working on the 260 hectare Harris Creek Forest Service Road Fire.
A request to have an air tanker help battle that fire was being assessed.
The Proctor Road Fire north of Lumby is 20 hectares and while out of control, it is not threatening any properties.
Thirteen firefighters are handling it and have used machines to construct a fire guard and have established a fuel free zone around its perimeter.
The Mable Creek wildfire remains at 200 hectares, but still classified as out of control.
A wildfire service crew has joined forestry company crews in battling it.
The Sugar Mountain Fire 4 kilometres east of Sugar Lake is estimated at 170 hectares and is listed as out of control.
This and the Mable Creek fire make up multiple fire starts in the drainages of Mabel and Sugar lakes from Highway 6 in the south to Three Valley Gap in the north.
Several of the fires have grown beyond the initial attack stage.
Local forest companies have engaged heavy equipment and personnel on these fires.
As of 10 o`clock last night, the Snowy Mountain fire 14 kilometres south of Keremeos was sitting at just over 12 thousand hectares and 40 per cent contained.
The increase in size is not so much from growth, but from improved mapping as some clearing in smoke allowed for better mapping of the fire.
It was most active yesterday above the inversion, within a mountainous bowl and ravine on the northeast of the fire, and on the west flank.
The fire remains to the west of Chopaka Road, but is burning in a southward direction and the south flank and is approximately 3 km from the U.S. border.
Several outbuildings and pieces of equipment were lost over the weekend , but no primary homes were affected.
Yesterday, crews worked to secure the north flank and tie it into rocky slopes in order to keep the fire from wrapping around towards Keremeos.
Other crews continued their work on the east flank to mop-up and patrol along Chopaka Road, and personnel worked to utilize an existing road system in the Roberts Creek area to the south of the fire to develop containment lines and take advantage of existing features.
Overnight crews worked on the east flank.
Meanwhile, the Goodes Creek fire in Okanagan Mountain Park is under control at 1370 hectares.
No further spread is expected, although some smoke may still be visible at times.
