Crash Video and Witnesses Sought

Police are looking to talk to any witnesses to a serious crash northwest of Vernon last week.

A motorcycle and SUV were involved on Highway 97 north of Tonasket Road Thursday morning.

The bike driver suffered seriously injuries after attempting to overtake the SUV that was turning left off the highway into a business.

Witnesses or anyone with video footage from dashboard cameras are asked to contact RCMP.

“If you were traveling through the area of Highway 97 north of Tonasket Road late last Thursday morning and have any information that could assist investigators with this collision, please call North Okanagan Traffic Services at 250-260-7132 and quote file number 2018-3565, ” says Cst. Mike Halskov, E Division Traffic Services.
